Writer's Block: A rose by any other name ...
3 years ago, I had a wild math teacher, his name was Mr. Bailey and he'd been around forEVER- like since my dad was in school. He was this werid, very touchy teacher who would always have a hand on your shoulder as he helped figure out a problem. Most people thought that was pretty strange and I guess it was but it was nice to have a change of pace- to have a teacher not be afraid to be that personal is a blessing to have.
Anyway, he had this repetitive streak that everyday we would correct our assignment from the previous day, learn the lesson and then start working on it. To correct the lessons, he would say something like "pass your paper to the person in front of you" or "pass it to the person to the north". One day he wanted to be more creative, i guess, so he said "pass your papers to your enemy behind you" becasue we mostly passed the papers to the same person every day seeing as how it was a class of about ten people.
My friend at the time was behind me and said "but i can't trade with hannah, she's not my enemy, she's my emony!" I really hate the fact that she's the one who came up with it (becuase i pretty much despise her with a bloody passion) but after she said that, i got to thinking it was a really good name. Me, her, and katelynnlynn were all pretty adament fanfiction writers so when i added to the name to become EmonyJade, it just sorta fit.
From then on i have loved the name, i love the alternate universe life it gives me when i use it and i love the places that it takes me.
