Marsh rolled his eyes. "No more Shakespeare for you."‘
Wes sat, completely bored, on the Gaither's couch. He looked at Marsh who was flipping through the TV channels. He noticed a stack of books on the coffee table and quickly pulled himself up, causing the leather of the seat to squeak and Marshall to look. He watched the tenor and his many faces as the skimmed book titles. With a smile, Wes picked a book from the bottom of the pile and leaned onto the arm of the couch. Marshall looked at the TV again, changed the channel a couple more times and turned it off with a sigh.
Wes yawned as he started to flip through the pages, silently reading to himself. With every page he scanned, his voice became increasingly louder.
"What are you reading?" Marshall asked and Wes looked up.
"Uh..." He turned the book to read the title. "Broadway Musicals of the 1950's."
"Oh...Any good ones?"
Wes made a noise. "A few. Max Meth, a couple George Abott, and a surprisingly lot of Shakespeare."
"Really." Marsh said, most prominently not interested.
"Yeah. Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth."
"That is super interesting." He said, picking up a magazine.
"Yeah. Romeo, Romeo, where fore art thou Romeo?"
Marsh rolled his eyes and reached towards Wes, closing the book.
"No more Shakespeare for you."
"But Marsh..." Wes pouted just as Bill and Gloria came in.
"You guys ready?"
"Yeah." They said simultaneously and abandoned their spots to head out the door.
Notes: Semi-crack-fic. No idea where they’re going or why they’re at Bill’s. Oh well.
