All a little... meh... this week. But I guess they all have to slow down for a second.
The M&M? Great! Honestly, we all know there's going to be a lot of fallout from Denny. This is the part that the interns forgot... and it was good to see them all have this whole 'how cool is M&M?' thing and then to see what I could see coming a mile off - that it was all about Denny.
Addison - hmm... like we hadn't all figured that one out. (But scarily, I still like her.)
Mer - she's lost some of those points she gained last week. Seriously, he's the love of her life and she doesn't notice that he's about to fall to pieces?
Alex - *cuddles Alex* That line at the end to Bailey - he didn't do anything... that's his guilt and he's been shouting it to the rafters ever since... but he gave context to it for Bailey... 'cause she rules... and Alex does too :)
Callie - *rolls eyes* I don't like her - never have.
George - *cuddles George* Poor thing, he didn't realise? (On a non-show note, the whole thing about TR being gay... why's it such a big deal? Doesn't make him any different to how he was before. Anyway, I still think he's awesome)
Izzie - her guilt - that was total (excuse my Roswell reference) guilt!Nazi mode. Really. On the fridge? Covered in juice? Gah! The Izzie/Addison and Izzi/Burke moments were the best in the episode, other than the Bailey/Alex one.
Catherine - so was that an answer about Sam? She lit the candle, so he's dead?
GSR - so it's not pissing me off as much as it is some people, but it is beginning to get annoying.
Greg - *cuddles Greg* Greg is awesome - and that hurt is there and is not going to go away... Catherine and Greg in that one scene? Both avoiding the hell out of all their own problems.
It was like we were waiting for something to happen. I think this season (now we're past those opening eps) is about the build up, the build up to the fallout from those eps and the last few seasons.
Patience - as many have said, is the key. Definitely when it comes to Neela/Ray. I am loving the fact that we are getting, even if they are small, Neela/Ray scenes. And this ep's? It was a perfect example of what I've been thinking for a while now. Neela has those feelings, and we all know Ray does, but she's not going to act on them - it's the 'guilt' (which is obviously big in the US med drama world this week). Ray on the other hand - he wanted a reaction from her, to know that he's not seeing things. I think that in her total non-reaction he got his reaction... and if he's smart enough, he'll realise that. But we all know there's a few more hurts and mistakes to go through before we get any proper Roomies action.
Gates - he's Neela's safety net right now. He's safe, funny (apparently) and very importantly has nothing to do with her Micheal/Ray/death/love guilt problems.
Abby - lol! The singing :D When I first realised we were going to get the, ohnoes! I've forgotten how to be a doctor thing I wasn't impressed, but they did it well. Abby still rules. She can be a Mum and a Doc.
Pratt - is it weird that I'm loving this guy even more these days? The Abby/Pratt thing is fun... and like someone at the board said, it's nice to see the old characters interacting with each other - especially like this... a way we've not really been shown before. Chas - oh boy, that's going to be interesting, isn't it?
Patient bursting into flames? Didn't we do that just the other week, oops no... that was Grey's.
Kovac vs Ames - hmm... not sure what I think of this one. Could we not have held off a little while on the next round of beat up the Luka? Also, Chuny's not normally that cold, is she?
Also - still loving Robin Hood. Will watch the Sunday repeat this week.
Yay! Torchwood! Damnit - my Dad's staying over Sunday night and will arrive half way through... so I'm just gonna miss it and watch the Wednesday Repeat. grrr.
