Make it Stop!
Ugh... I feel so crappy. My sore throat is marginally better today... but I now have a very stuffy nose and head. So, yup, I'm gonna be mightily pissed off tonight for K's brithday meal. I love Chinese... why does my ability to actually taste stuff have to disappear today!
My three hour seminar was horrible this morning... I couldn't get my head round anything. Also, we're up in the roof and there's workmen fixing the roof at the minute (as there has been since the summer) and they decided to drill right over our heads today... for 2 and a half hours...
Saw Grave Danger last night. I loved it... it was different definitely... but very good. I nearly cried. Poor Nicky! Am in definite need of fluff fic today. And now I'm only missing having seen all of season 5 (minus Grave Danger)... it would have made more sense to watch Grave Danger before Tuesday when season 6 started but *shrugs* what can you do? It's not like I could avoid A's birthday by saying I wanted to watch the TV showing of GD, is it? Ugh... will not download the season... I'll wait til it comes out on dvd, whenever that may be and B and T get it, like they have with all the other seasons.
Am resisting the urge to throttle A... he's got man flu... I really can't deal with him when he's like this... especially when I'm ill at the same time. He told me this morning that I'm f***ing annoying and that when I say stuff about my health he has to take 50% off 'cause I exaggerate so much! I'm more than a little pissed off at him... as especially with the health stuff these days I cut down on telling people stuff 'cause I don't like to get annoying about it. Also, so much for him actually understanding some of the female stuff... you know, like the extra strength presecription painkillers I take at certain times that only take some of the pain away... GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I talked to B and T about what he'd said so I don't lose it at him... B gets it... I think she's about ready to throttle him too... apparently she thinks he's been arsey for a few weeks now. And apparently I'm not annoying about my health stuff... and don't exaggerate (got a River style WTF? look from B for that one!!! lol)
