In which somebody somewhere has to be taking the piss

So - looking at the RadioTimes for this week... especially Thursday at nine was a joy... Heroes is back for season 2 so I'll finally get to see it. Unfortunately it clashes with House and Bones. The problem here is that Mum also watches all these and watches them like a normal person - on the telly. Fixit - tape House in Mum's study, tape Bones in ( Read more... )

Sometimes the scheduling is a nightmare. I know channels want to win viewers but sticking three, sometimes four, big shows up against each other is just infuriating!

That awesome looking new show with Anthony Head and Warren Clarke in is starting next week

The Invisibles! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that looks awesome! :D

It's ridiculously infuriating... and then they'll say but we have iPlayer, etc... and oh, we repeat... but it's still way annoying.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that looks awesome! - you're really not. The first time Mum and I saw the ad for it... it was the one where Tony Head doesn't say anything at all... we both squealed. Seriously. And then spent god knows how long trying to find out when it would be on. And I really don't get why beeb one is putting this up against beeb two... you'd think nobody talked to each other at the beeb. ;)

Also - I really hope it's as awesome as it looks. 'Cause if those two and the guy from that program I never watched and that Shakespeare remake that I did watch manage to make something crappy I shall be mightily disappointed.

I know, they're all 'you can catch up on anything you've missed!' But I don't want to, because iPlayer is kind of rubbish and there's deadlines and annoying website distractions D: And I can never find the repeats in the schedule, because I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to noticing stuff....

I know the first ad was mostly quiet but showed off the cast and crime stuff, but it was funny, and then there was another one and we were all 'ok yes, we're sooo watching that.' But their scheduling still boggles me, honestly it does.

Lol! Yes, random cast have massive potential that could so easily be crushed by a rubbish script. But I'm going to be enthusiastic and optimistic for a change :D

I watch DW Confidential on iPlayer... well, I watch on the DW website... but the first one I watched from iPlayer. Somehow it works better on the DW site. *isconfuzzled*

But I'm going to be enthusiastic and optimistic for a change :D - yes. I might try that one. ;)

It looks cute from what I saw on the BBC site. When the episode comes out, I'll have to download it. :D

*patpats* Poor Em and her scheduling. *tosses her cookies*

As for Heroes Season 2...it's good, but, yeah. Let's just say, hopefully Season 3 that's coming out in the fall over here will be much much better and fixes stuff. :D Also, Season 2 of Heroes only has about 11-12 eps I think 'cause of the writer's strike. So, in a way, it's a regular BBC series. ;) btw, Season 2 is called Generations and Season 3 coming out is called Villians. >:D

This is from about 8 years ago with Anthony Head, but enjoy. :D
