Holiday Fun - in place of cards
Hey Guys.
As some of you know already I'm not one for sending holiday cards. This year I felt like doing something a little different. I've signed up for the TtH Holiday Ficathon (oh and the TtH Awards are running now) and that put the idea in my head.
So - to sign up... give me a fandom or pairing, something you know I know enough about to do something with and I shall come up with a fic, icon set or wallpaper (huh... did I do wallpapers last year?)
As I'm saying holiday rather than anything specific I'll say that all gifts will be done by the 7th January (long acknowledged as the final day of the festive season in my house - and this year the brat will be 18).
P.S. I have a chocolate advent calendar and I'm not happy. Odd, I know. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to how I like my Christmas to happen (my mum calls me the Christmas Nazi - yes, she too watched Roswell) and growing up we always had a proper advent calendar, just card (no chocolate) with a nativity scene. These days as they can be ridiculously hard to find I settle for reading a chapter of The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder a day through advent - only I apparently left the book at home last year *headdesk* so I ended up with a 29p advent calendar... with awful chocolate that leaves a funny after taste in your mouth.
