Lunch, shopping, discipline!

Today was definitely a fun day despite how it ended. The 7th graders were cool today, or rather I was in a good mood, so I tolerated them easier. But anyways, they were a breeze. And I like talking to them. Glad I didn't have to be the bitch of discipline to them today. Hope they finish their hw on time next week-they're getting better at it...thank the lord!

Then the cool part came. I went to lunch with many of my cool and close buddies: Eric, Geena, Kenny Jeanne and Phong. There were supposed to be more people, but I guess they couldn't make it. It was fun talking to them about my scandalous kids, though most of the time was concentrated on deciding on the exact name of the color of Eric's dress shirt. I still say it's dark lavenderish-either that or it's PINK!!! What the heck is salmon anyways!!

After lunch at Tony Romas, Geena and Kenny went to watch Austin Powers. Phong was supposed to join me and Jeanne shopping, but he decided on a movie instead after making sure that Geena and Kenny would not mind him as a 3rd wheel. Eric wanted to watch a movie too, but SHOPPING was just TOOOOOO ATTRACTIVE to him. In his own words, he said,"I can do shopping any day, but this is SHOPPING!!!!!" He didn't end up getting anything because me and Jeanne dissed the shirt he got...we're so nice... :). However, Jeanne, who was the least enthusiastic about shopping, bought a pair of sunglasses from Ross. The day of fun finally came to a close when Eric went back to the center with us. All the kids just swarmed over him. THEY THOUGHT ERIC WAS ADAM!!! They kept going,"Hey everyone!!! Come!! Ms. Kwong's boyfriend came!!!" The kids just encircled Eric like ants around a dead cocakroach. And of course, Simon and Albert came along and shouted insults to Eric...bad bad kids. However, Albert stopped when I told him to give me some definitions. So due to the crazy atmosphere, Eric had to leave quite early. The kids were just getting too rowdy and over-excited. So now the rumor in the school is that ERIC IS MS. KWONG'S ADAM! HAHAHAHA! Me and Jeanne decided that we should bring more guys in...just to confuse the kids on who the REAL ADAM is. Poor, poor Eric. I hope the kids didn't scare you...that much. :) I was never so glad to be single today.

Then finally, my day ended with tough disciplining. I got 2 new students in 3rd grade. I hate new students because they are usually freakin' stupid. My new kids' names were Cece (blah-what kind of name is that?) and James. Cece had no common sense and is quite slow...irritating. James never pays attention in class and gives me attitude when I punish him. So I ended up having to speak to his aunt today-he was LUCKY that his mommy didn't come today! Oh yes, not to mention I was freezing for 3 hours in that classroom. Darn that school! They either don't turn on the air conditioning or when they finally do-they turn it on freakin high and freeze me because I have to stand right under the area where the air comes out...*shivers*

But despite that irritating kid, I'm still very happy. I'm glad I no longer let small bad things like this get to me anymore. Hope you guys can all do that too. Remember to smile guys!!! :)
