An OMINOUS package from POMONA!!!!!
So today, when I walk out to the kitchen, I find this huge mail package from Pomona. Thinking it was mail containing my residence info, I opened it excitedly, only to be drastically annoyed, haunted and disappointed. Turns out to be a package containing tons of medical and insurance forms telling me to be sure to keep my belongings in a safe place and informing me about meningococcal disease (so i can get the vaccine-hmph! after going the whole package though, I feel like infecting the whole school! hmph!). Ofcourse, that wasn't the worst part of the package. I also found some stupid book called "Kindred" by Octavia Butler. It's around 300 pages, some type of "Beloved"-like book, and looks like it belongs to the Oprah Book Club. That is MY summer reading book-and for once, I thought WASN'T going to GET HW IN THE SUMMER! GGRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! HMPH! HMPH! HMPH! But then, as I plow more into the package, I find out that i have to write a lame-o essay to my faculty advisor about my life and expectations at Pomona-MORE HMPH! And like my school mascot is a HEN?!?! Well, it's called Cecil Sagehen! HMPH! And yeah, like I have to absolutely take some stupid writing exam, maybe a chem exam, definitely a foreign language and maybe a math entrance exam despite AP credit and crap. I only get calculus AB credit if i pass the course that follows calculus AB and also manage to get a 4 or 5 on the AP, which means, no credit for calculus even if I already have a passing score on AP-ahhhhhh!!!! #@$@#$#@%@#%$%@#$. And finally, school starts Sept. 3, like 3 days after my job is over-grrrrrrrrrrrr! As you all might have guessed, I was on the verge of wripping the whole package up as I was perusing it. Now, I not only have stupid little brats to worry about, but also stupid Pomona HW to do! GREAT! *sigh*....I'm going to continue filling out my medical aps now....thinking of going pre-med....
