(no subject)
So, the Winter Ball was amazing. Things with Darion are a little iffy, but I dunno. All together, today was a good day.
School without Amber and Lacey is different. P.E. certainly sucks a lot more. Me and Hannah are just loners...except for when we play volleyball - then I'm alone with Jesperson, English, and Blea. Wayyy too much testosterone, if you ask me. We kind of suck, but I guess we have fun. No P.E. for me tomorrow - I'm going to the matinee of Steel Magnolias. Dare's coming too :)
Let's see...English is going well. I'm reading Ender's Game in my Lit. Circle with Sarah, Andrew, and Keeva. So...I'm pretty happy there. Spanish is actually really good - I got a 94% on my test. Geometry's ok...I only missed one on the quiz and I finished all of my homework for tonight in class today. Biology is beginning to be fun...I got a 95% on my test in that class - I'm breezin'. I don't want to talk about theater, though. That's a completely different story.
I'm reading Freedom Writer's Diary and it's pretty interesting. I bought it before the Rachel's Challenge assembly, but it seems to be pretty similar in concept. Both are about ending segregation (racial and otherwise) and just showing kindness all around. I really want to see the Freedom Writers (movie). The book is just the diaries of the kids, but I want to see how they interpret it in film.
Alayna went home sick - get well soon. Kids in Koncert tonight, Covered in Bees tomorrow (?), Kids in Koncert on Thursday, (possible) Concert on Friday, voice and Veronica's birthday thing on Saturday, Superbowl on Sunday. Sounds like a busy week - eh?
