look! I'm posting! (and I'm angry! rawr!)
Today was a bad day. Mostly because of work, who I'm mad at. The story.....
I woke up this morning to a phone call that was from work. Evidently I was scheduled from 7:45am- 4pm. So I obviously agreed to come in and work it. But I kept thinking and thinking as I was getting ready, and trying to figure out who had made the mistake here... Was I going crazy and had totally missed writing down one day when I was writing down my schedule? or had someone at work just been an idiot somehow? Well, it turned out to be neither(although I still vote for the second one.) When I came in I immediatly looked at the schedule to see who had made the mistake here, and the hours for today were written in. So I was like, wtf? I asked the person at the front door who was covering for me until I got there and she was like, "Yeah, they do that sometimes." I guess they changed it on friday(the schedule goes up on thursday,) and I hadn't looked since thursday when I wrote my hours down, because why should I have to?
Now frankly, I think this is a lot of bullshit. I mean, I don't mind if they change my hours, but if the schedule is already up they better notify me instead of just hoping I'll notice it. ... That was my main point of contention at work today.
Other things that made it bad: the flea bites all over my legs(mostly at my ankles,) that it was morning, and that it being morning and that I hadn't gotten much sleep because I thought I would be able to sleep in and had therefore stayed up late, I was extremely nauseus. I threw up into a garbage can once.
The only thing that went right at work today? There were no bad customers.
Thankfully, after I got out of work, things were good. Except the flea bites, they still itch like crazy.
