update!
spring break is still rockin. went to that party friday with joel. saturday we went to java's and met up with dana, sarah, sara, steve, jack, ryan, matt, and beth! talked for a couple hours. ryan, jack, joel and me decided to start a band... we're called 'arsenal of analogy' because jack was like "i saw this 20/20 special on bowling shoes... there's so much bacteria in them, it's like mardi gras in your shoes." so i was like "jack you're always so full of analogies, you have like a whole arsenal of them." so later when we decided to start a band (which we decided will sound like a combination of andrew w.k. and hilary duff) we named it arsenal of analogy. later we went to ryan's and watched a really sweet irish movie, it was called Ordinary Decent Criminal... well, it seemed really sweet but i fell asleep so i missed the ending which everyone said was really good.
sunday me, joel, erin and tyler went to the motion city soundtrack / from first to last / matchbook romance show. it was awesome to hang out with canavan again. i absolutely love her. [handcuffs!] the show was awesome. from first to last is my favorite band of those 3, but i was most impressed with motion city. overall a terrific show. we met up with jenn della fave (my favorite last name in the whole world) and her 2 friends... one of which i found out was my "first kiss of the new year." it was also great to see jason there and also kim, who i hadn't seen in a long time! then me/erin/joel/tyler went to nick tahoe's because i have never had a garbage plate from the ORIGINAL. we also convinced jenn to come along! and we told her that the other guys in our "band" wanted a "hot female keyboardist"... so naturally, we asked her!
monday i chilled and played drums, then hung out with jason. played some pool and whatnot. tuesday i chilled some more, played drums/guitar with becky, and went to alex's house. we watched the terminal, smoked a joint, played ping-pong high, and watched shawn of the dead, which i did not get and thought was the dumbest movie ever.
that brings me to today (wednesday march 16th). break is half over and it's been absolutely great so far. i am definitly not bored yet, each day has been great and i've seen a lot of people that i've been dying to see. hopefully the rest will be just as fun and filled with lovely people. let's see, today i drummed a little bit, went to the x-dreams skate park with paul and matt, then went to becky's and played kemps and watched napoleon dynamite. and today is mathew timothy wynne jones's birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTY! tomorrow is st. patty's day... steve's party got canceled unfortunately, but i'm sure there'll be more parties around. either way, i'll be chillin with a great group of friends. i've been going to bed around 3-5am every night so far, this is gonna suck when i go back to school and am all thrown off. my ass hurts from falling from skating today.
