i have yet to see someone protest with a good reason to protest. it's all just "fuck bush, blah, blah, blah, i have no idea what i'm talking about because i'm a fucking retard." maybe if teens would investigate the matter more closely and establish opinions of their own instead of being brainwashed by the highly liberal MTV we would have less teenybopper protesters. but what can you do? nothing. and what good is protesting going to do? none. has it ever made a change during any war? nope. so just stop wasting valuable markers and paperboard for protest signs...they could be used for school projects that actually require brains to make.

people are dying for your freedom of speech which all of you exploit daily. why not show alittle support to the great americans who are fighting for your rights, whether you're with them or against them?

if those damn new wave hippies would take a min and watch CNN they would see iraqis greeting the american military. they were happy to see us...i mean they were dancing for christ sake and beating a picture of sadam with a shoe! does that sound like a country that is being "raped" by america? hell no!

it seems as if you haven't done your research either. Bush was a much better choice than Kerry, and as of right now, no we can't just stop the war, because we can't just tear down a country and leave. everyone makes protesting as something so menial, when they don't think of the many protests that got us to this "free" country anyway. And before you stereotype, I'm against the war, however, that doesn't mean I'm against my country, I'm thrilled I'm a US citizen. However, What was Rosa Parks point of her protest? Because it meant nothing when police could brutally beat blacks with no consequence? Protesting truely does nothing. Just like the protests of Martin Luther King Jr. and the numerous women who felt they had a place to vote and be able to work and earn the correct amount of wages. A lot of protesting doesn't do anything, true... but if we didn't have protests, we would still be in the 1800's state of mind.
