Hi Strangers!
So its been 11 weeks since my last post on here! Thats just silly lol
I decided I'm going to post more on here than on myspace now, as I'm trying to phase out that website. It is slowly becoming the bane of my existence. If I didn't work on a computer for 8 hours a day, the addiction would much easier to kick lol
So tonight Eugene and I are seeing Stardust! Yay! I'm a Neil Gaiman fan and this movie is based on one of his books. Hopefully he had some creative control over the film!
We're going to see it up in Fishkill, since Eugene needs to deposit his paycheck at the bank there. They really are the best bank ever, it just sucks that they don't have one in Harrison! lol
Tomorrow I have to meet up with my mother to fix the cell phone contract and put it in my name only, so they stop sending HER the bill. Verizon, I have resolved, only hires lazy morons who love to misinform its customers and then give you an attitude. Ugh.
After that Eug and I are going shopping for my dad's birthday gift, a cable splitter so we can watch tv, and I need new sandals, coz the ones I've got I've worn to death lol They are literally falling apart. I just hope I can find a pair that are just as comfortable as these were, before they came undone lol
Then its dinner with the rents. I asked my mother to speak to my father for me about the stupid tattoo issue. She doesn't like the tattoos, but she also doesn't emotionally abuse me over them lol She at least understands where I'm coming from, understands ME, and she's going to do her best to keep my father from starting drama tomorrow night that would ultimately result in Eugene having to speak to him and us leaving abruptly, only to not go back for a very, very long time.
I hate to give the man an ultimatum, but if he's not going to get over himself and look past my skin, than he won't be looking at me at all. And when he realizes that this will compromise his traditional dreams of walking me down the isle, he'll have to come around. I hate to be so cold, but caring too much only gives me knots in my stomach and nervous breakdowns.
On a lighter note, the summer is almost over, and that means possibly aquiring free furniture, woot! We still need a couch and a dresser, and I'm hoping we can score those soon.
The apartment is great, Splinter is enjoying the change of scenery and entertains us all the time lol Thank you to Jenai and Justin for helping us transport him!! That was a fun day, despite the ungodly heat lol
My boss didn't go to the city like I had hoped she would this week, so I'm keeping hopeful for next week, this way I can record some of my songs hehe
