roadtrip, fresno style this weekend was majorly fun. although we didnt run into quite as many adventures on the way up or back as we hoped (as in no hijackers or having to hike for gas, which is probably a good thing) it was an awesome time had by all. we stayed with my roomie emily's fam and just chilled around there and did all the wonderful things there is to do in fresno, which is drive around and look in thrift shops and eat. still, it was so much fun and exactly the kind of break i needed. here's a couple photo highlights from the weekend!
everyone got a chance to get behind the wheel of my fantastic protege [daniel not pictured]. now children, no fighting...
so we finally get to fresno friday night and do what every group of college kids do when they get to their destination from a roadtrip - play scrabble with the roellke family! yeah, we're hardcore for sure. so after all that excitement, we were pretty beat and got ready to hit the hay.
so then we woke up for saturday activities which was basically a tour of fresno thrift stores and then going to see emily's old high school's play that night.
mike wearing special blue pleather pants from one of the stores. you cant tell, but the pants stop long before he does. pleather seemed to be a theme of the shopping...
yu-gi-oh!!! awesome jacket daniel shoulda bought.
unfortunately due to camera dying and other unforeseen events, there are not really any more pictures of thrilling fresno. hopefully you got an idea of my weekend however, i really had a blast! :o)
p.s. i was not impressed with the oscars, but thats another topic for another day
