Well i'm back from my family trip to see my brother. While Westpoint is an interesting place and all, it was still a relief to get out of the small town and into the big city. Michaels girlfriend had to be at the airport at 11 so she, he, and I took the train to Grand central station and accompanied her to the bus that would take her to the airport. After she left Mike and I walked around a little bit just to see what was directly around. We hadn't taken into account the time (10:00 AM) and were a little worried when the response to our pizza question was answered with "are you serious? Do you know what time it is?" thank you NY police. We got some breakfast and then Mike headed back to post. I walked up to MoMA but didn't want to pay the $20 admission. So i went around the back and looked through the gate at the courtyard. Hopped the subway to East village and commenced my trek around the area.

There is no place in the city that doesnt have a smell. It's either food, perfume, or garbage (a lot of the latter). Also it was incredible when the train passes underneath you and you feel the vibrations at street level.

Ended up walking from E. Village, through China Town, into the Lower East Side, back up to West Village. my boots punished my feet. Stayed with my boss's mother in the bronx and it was really fun. I'm going back. I'd like to go there for a couple of months to see what it's like to live.

Also, TONS of pics from famous artists work, as well as current wall work.

Now it's back to the grind.
