Man if someone apps whoever Mewtwo's paired with I would HAPPILY play with a ill-defined sense of connection/partners-thing. Heck I already reference SSB when threading with Bowser so WHY NOT SAMURAI TOO?
But who knows, maybe this will get more exposure to SW in the west. I know it's a Nobunaga's Ambition game, but those are the SW3 designs, so who knows.
Haha, yeah, I wouldn't know the difference anyway. XD
Though yes, from the looks of the comments to one youtube video of the preview from Festa, pokemon fandom is highly, HIGHLY ignorant of Koei's games, so MAYBE....
although if it's definitely DS and not 3DS I may just import it
It looks like it's on the DS, yep! Also wow that sentence in my last comment was redundant. Anyway, I'm not surprised they're ignorant of the Koei series. Dynasty Warriors is a little more popular than SW, but the only Western version of SW3 was released on the Wii (so there's different character designs from SW1/2) and sold terribly.
Yeah, the article says DS. And not much else we didn't already know. XD
And yeah, though I guess I'm spoiled in that when I first got into pokemon fandom (WAY BACK IN THE DAY) I hung out on forums where, if MOST of the people there were unfamiliar with something like that, at least someone would know it and happily explain. :|a
And lol they're using Samurai Warriors designs... I hope the camp SW characters are so we can have "canon" pokemon. PLZ KOEI AND NINTENDO, PLZ.

....although in that case I suppose I'd still settle for a Shingen and vague senses of rivalry. :|a

Now we have to pair characters up with pokemon and see if we're right.

It's huge enough for him to use it as a big cushion when they take naps together.
