Yesterday, my coworker, the one I thought was mad at me on Saturday, called me and told me she had a proposition for me. She said she had a friend who owned a salon who had some openings and I went with her this morning to meet this woman.
I pretty much got hired on the spot.
Right now I'm in the process of 'OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST DO'?
I'm going out for drinks with some coworkers tonight to talk about some stuff and taunt them about the fact that they still have to work with that beast.
It's taken five years of mood swings, borderline harassment and her horrible attitude to push me to the point of leaving. And right now, I'm in a state of elation mixed with terror.
Is that normal?
