A/N: So, I was sitting at work, pondering the mysteries of life because it was so fucking BORING today. This literally attacked me out of nowhere. I tried a new style of writing, because I'm so envious of people who can use a couple of sentences to tell an entire story rather then writing like ten pages. So yeah. Anyway, enjoy. :D
Three months after DADT was repealed Jensen and Cougar showed up at Fort Bragg after two weeks of uninterrupted leave.
There was nothing strange about this behavior, and it would have been counted as odd if they had shown up separately.
Only one person actually knew what they had gotten up too on their leave, and it was only because new paperwork had to be filed.
General Coleman wasn't about to go running his mouth on a subject that didn't even rank in his top ten things that interested him that day.
He simply noted it in the file, took his share of the money owed him for the date on the paper and shook Cougar's hand when he came across the sniper on the way to range.
It wasn't as if the two were expecting anyone to notice right away, but they both agreed that it was a little ridiculous that it took Pooch an entire month to notice the matching rings on silver chains.
Roque and Clay were still as oblivious as blind monkeys, but that wasn't unusual.
“You guys are married? Married?”
“Took you long enough Pooch. It's only been a month.”
“Month and five days.”
“Sorry my human calendar. It's only been a month and five days.”
“Yo. Clay. Jensen and Cougs got married.”
“What? To who?”
“To whom. And really Clay? Really? Who do you think I got married to? I'll give you a hint. He's named after a big cat and he's standing right beside me.”
“Jensen, shut up.”
“I don't have to shut up Roque. I'm a newly wed. It's the rules. I called Jolene and asked.”
“You...you told my wife?”
“Yeah. She told me to tell you that you owe her three hundred bucks. I thought it was nice of her to put such faith in me and Cougs'.”
“Also invited us for supper.”
“That she did Cougs, that she did. I forgot how much I liked Jolene.”
“If you're done being all romantic, can we please get moving?”
“Who spit in your oatmeal Roque? Not even a little congratulations?”
“Congratulations?”
“See, was that so hard.”
“I'm gonna kill him Clay.”
“Jensen, stop taunting Roque.”
“I thought you'd have him better trained by now Cougs. Oh god...please stop smirking.”
“Clay. Is it go or no go? I need to eviscerate something.”
“Losers. Let's head out. Cougar, keep your husband in check.”
“Oooohhhh. I just got shivers.”
“JENSEN. SHUT UP.”
