Anita steps out, sniffing the air. She's not completely at ease since the night of What's Out There, and she's not really cool with going into the forest.
She pauses, examines her surroundings, and... sees the kid.
Damn. Not good with kids. And this one looks unhappy. She sighs inwardly, and sits on the steps next to him.
He tilts his head at her, examining her. "Oh. All right." He accepts that, holding out his arm. He's a skinny little thing, growing more quickly than he has enough food to keep himself healthy.

There's really no polite way to say it.
"You smell funny. Not like Nik. More like me."
And he doesn't mean BO.
But he doesn't seem bothered, not in the least.

She holds out her arm. Just like Cal, her skin is quite pale, and her hair is dark. Enough to suggest that maybe they are related.
