This is what I'm saving up for now. Well...I'm buying a 300 dollar phone in May, but I need that too, and that's using my birthday money. But I'm going to be saving up for a mac powerbook so I can start making the transition to mac while still having my pc laptop. The main reason I wanna start making the switch is because nothing I have now is fast enough to use for recording and macs are just overall better and more heard of in the recording/music/production industry. And instead of saving up for the big PowerMac G5, I can ease in my transfer with a powerbook and start building a smaller, more portable studio to use for now until I have money and i'm out of college and can afford a PowerMac G5!! I know this is a lot of money to be spending, but I'll be in the city and
I won't have a car, so it's justified. I'm sooooo excited, I wish I could buy mine today! I'm gonna go into the mac store and bring my interface and play around with the different powerbooks to see which one will be best for what I need it for. Jacob, I'll let you know when I'm coming in!
