   So I saw Star Wars Episode VIII yesterday. It's number eight right? I feel like it's becoming very confusing trying to accurately refer to the movies. In discussion after the movie with my friends we kept saying "but now the last one, well not the last one, the prequel to this, but not the prequels, just the one that comes

And actually I just realized their whole THING was they were trying to get somewhere with a large enough transmitter to call for help ..... but then they called grandmother-with-goggles to ask for a lockpicking referral...?! Clearly they can call out or have someone such as her who is in range make the call for them!

I didn't like Poe when I first saw him. He reminded me a lot of Tom Cruise's Top Gun character...and I just don't go for those type of arrogant, cocky people.

I remember coming out of Phantom Menace, after waiting a life time for a new Star Wars movie, and feeling that I was slapped in the face... and the Princess in those movies would have though nothing of young Ani as she would have been drooling over Obi Wan...like any proper teenager...

I am going to wait for all the hype before I go and see this. I can take Dad as it is a Disney thing and I don't expect there are any 3 boobied alien gals out there on the make for Jedi ;-P

Great photo! Apropos of nothing, I saw a Kyrgyz restaurant last night in a small town not far from here. I was impressed that there might be enough people who knew what to expect from Kyrgyz food (I don't!) or that there might actually be a big enough population of expats there to support it.

I am pretty disenfranchised from the SW franchise in that I left during the one with Jar-Jar and only saw Rogue One under duress, but then ended up liking it.
