Bee Friendly Gardensemo_snalFebruary 14 2010, 22:09:31 UTC
Oh um... there's definitely information out there if you google "bee friendly flowers" or "bee friendly gardens." I'd recommend trying to keep in mind not only honeybees but native bees (I see you're listed as being in "Raccoon City United States" (is that a real place??) .. honeybees aren't actually native to the americas). Native bees of course like native flowers (and I encourage planting native flowers anyway just because, you know, you gotta stick up for the natives). Another frequently overlooked fact about native bee gardens is don't put down sod or anything else that covers the soil, because a lot of them actually live in the ground.
