why does my mom have to ruin everything?
she tells me earlier in the day that she'll be able to take me to jess's house so i can see her for christmas, and at least once this vacation since she's gone away all week after this. so yeah, i got pretty excited. then when i say something to her an hour or 2 later it's the old, "we're having people over, so i don't think i can take you" thing. wtf? you knew we were having people over before too, yet you said you would take me.
