My Week in Review

Sep 15, 2005 22:38

On a normal scale of things, I would have to say that this week so far has been one to be pushed out an airlock. I ate bad cafeteria food and was doomed to sing lyrics to songs I don't even know for an entire afternoon (although I must admit that "New York State of Mind" was quite catchy), I couldn't come up with anything remotely useful to contribute in Advanced Negotiations and felt like an idiot. Then I woke up in the middle of the night though the sheer force the pain behind Hank's nightmare a few floors below me.

Then the whole Angelus thing got completely blown out of proportion (he really doesn't seem to be that bad a person) and I had a Force-headache from all the fear and stress being emoted by the students. I have also been given some sort of man tacked to a piece of wood and a half-drunk bottle of water (what? I was thirsty) that will somehow stop Angelus.

I don't get that at all.

Professor Gandalf was totally creepy again, making me answer questions that probe too deeply into a growing disquiet I have with the way the Jedi are organized. I don't think I have the strength to face what sort of conclusions I might come to if I keep following my thoughts.

Principal Connor announced some sort of conference with our guardians at the end of next month, which means Obi-Wan is going to come here, probably armed with horrifying stories about my childhood and calling me "Annie" at every opportunity, and it will be absolutely awful.

But I can't really bring myself to care. Because she let me hold her. Right now I could fly against Trade Federation ships without shields.
