She held on tightly, staring out the window for a few minutes. "Want to try to sleep for awhile before I have to go to my writing workshop?" She glanced up at him. "Or I could skip it, if you want me to stay with you."
"You need to sleep too," she told him, lying down and watching him as worriedly as one can while still blinking blearily and obviously working to stay awake.
"I'll sleep," he said, making sure not to mention exactly when that might happen. He began rubbing circles on Rory's back, half to put her to sleep, half to reassure himself that she was still there.

He walked back to the bed and sat down. He wasn't at all tired.

His eyes were flickering around the room again, seeing ghosts and images that weren't there.
He knew they weren't there. The Force told him they weren't real.
It didn't stop him from seeing them.

As her sleep deepened, she reached out for him, mumbling something into her pillow.
She'd never been one to rest well when worried.
