Change is good occasionally.
well well well. i have a confession. i must admit, change can be good on occasion. usually, change terrifies me. like, when huge things like friends, family, schedules, etc abruptly change or are thrown out of whack, i flip. i like my schedules! i like knowing what im up against. and when you dont know, it sux. anyways, this year has been a year full of changes. first, december... the most stressful month probably of my life. i had lots of stuff going on, rehearsals at night, trying to get into the military, projects (lol erik) and other crap. almost started smoking too (kristal almost kissed me when i smoked with her lol). but i didnt, so that makes me feel good. and then there was the cast party. oh god. lol. at least i can laugh about it now. i must say, im so glad it happened. some of you peeps might be thinking that im crazy, but honestly, im so glad it happened. without being pushed out of the closet, i dont think it would have ever happend. i mean, im so different from december! im actually able to be myself and not be scared.
after christmas and such, i finally got into the military in february. what an experience. i had my basic training on weekends, and i cant tell you how tough it was at times, but how amazing it was at others. its totally changed me as a person (not to mention helped me lose my baby fat! lol). coming out and joining the military has helped me become who i am right now. i have so much more confidence and determination (as some of you must have noticed the death stress towards the end of year and the drive to do everything, leading to my breakdown in english lol).
anyways, summer so far is going pretty well. military screwed me over for employment, but hopefully im getting a job at Esso (woot gas monkey lol) and i have OJT (on-the-job training) with the military for august. im still changing, but this time ill let it happen. i cant wait until we all graduate (omg grade 12 this year!!) and we can all look back and see how much we've changed.
