Weirdos
What is it about laundromats that attracts the weirdest people.
I was washing some clothes today and sitting outside smoking a cigarette and enjoying my Chuck Klosterman essays when this old lady sits down next to me.
She started talking about washing dresses (wtf?) the weather and the line outside of Ritas water ice. Then she told me (im not exaggerating) about 6 times about how her 2 sons had died and how one was a doctor and one was a lawyer and CPA. She was going on about how their wives didnt take care of them or some shit and how did her and her husband live into their 80s and they died in their 50s i was like uuuh ok. The she said she didnt know how either of them died. Then she made fun of fat people getting off the bus. Then she told me at least 5 times about how she didnt like the lunch meat from shop rite. she asked my age 3 times and if i was married another three times. She also saw me smoke 2 cigarettes and asked if i smoked. I went in to check my dryer and she said she was leaving of course she didn't and followed me into the laundromat and told me about how some senator stole $12,000 from her something about real estate.
She seriously must have had Alzheimers. Because sometimes she would forget stuff and be like this makes me want to cry its making me so scared i cant think of anything. i didnt even know what to do. i hope she knew how to get home. I hope if i get to be that old i am in a home with a good alarm system so i don't go out annoying the citizens of my neighborhood.
Anyway i highly recommend Chuck Klosterman's essays they are very interesting and make you think. I also don't recommend sitting in front of your local laundromat unless u want to meet a bunch of weirdos
In other news my roommate has been keeping me up for the last 2 nights. It must be nice to be able to party and drink all night on a fucking Tuesday. Keep it in your room and keep quiet or fucking party in a dorm where that kind of shit is acceptable not when you have 2 roommates who have to be up at 630am!
