what's up everyone, my band recovering creeps played our first show last night, it was at this really chill house party, the house was huge, and the backyard was beautiful, we played as the sun was setting it created for such a nice vibe for reggae dub...i snapped a string halfway through our first song, so i had to borrow a guitar from radio city, but that guitar kept cutting out, haha but we still fuckin kicked ass, people fuckin loved us, they were goin crazy...damn, i fucking love it, i love this band, i love my bandmates i love the music...the turnout was really good...we played there, then radio city, played, i was excited to see em, cause it was my homie's new band, that i hadn't heard yet, they were fucking good, played a clash cover which i really enjoyed...man, they were fuckin good, at the end they played blitzkrieg bop, which me and andy both grabbed a mic, and sang along...just like old times, it was fuckin rockin....it was a trip, my homie andy from orange county, ca...showed up during our second song, he walked up, and i was so drunk i didn't even notice at first, plus i couldn't really see out from where we were playing it was dark out there, but the lights were on us, so it was hard to see, but anyways after we finished that song i was like whoa dude! what the fuck are you doin here! and i was like dude come here, and i said into the mic, "yo, i want everyone to meet my good friend andy, he's a hardcore fan came all the way from orange county, ca, just to fuckin see us, ha just kiddin but ya." we finished our set, everyone was diggin it, goin crazy at the end of our songs, we finished playing, hung out for a bit, and talked to some people...then we left to pick up my homie nick from work, haha he works at fuckin party city, i got there and looked in the window to see if he was still there, and he was wearin some goofy ass wig, haha that shit was funny...but then he came out with some chicks that also worked there, we brought one of the chicks with us, to the kegger at nick's girlfriends house, that we played later on that night, the chick from party city was pretty cool, she's this cool reggae chick named mary...haha anyways, we got there and there were all these old people there, and a bunch of kids too, i asked nick's girlfriend if it was cool if we still played, she said yeah, so we set up in the middle of this big room, and people like formed a circle around us, it was fucking sweet, they shut off the lights and turned on this big strobe light, it was really fuckin cool, we were so drunk at our show right before that, that we left behind a bunch of equiptment, but radio city, had our backs, and picked it up, and gave it back to us, anyways we were short some equiptment, at the second show at kathleen's(nick's girlfriend) house, haha alex didn't even have drum sticks i borrowed someone's guitar, and used a bass amp, with my pedals running through it, alex used hangers and taped them together for drum sticks, he went through like 12 pairs of those, man, and we still fucking kicked ass, people loved us here too, everyone was dancin, it was packed as fuck, and hot as fuck. Everyone had their arms around eachother and were dancing, the vibe was so good, it felt like true unity, all these different types of people, coming together, and having a good time, listenin to some reggae dub, the vibe was so amazing, and i will never forget that night, it was one of the best and craziest night of my life...
