Sometimes I hate poor people.......
So I was watching some segment on the news today about New Orleans relocatees and their continuing struggle 6months later. The story was based around a young couple that moved here and have had to spend the last 6th months living in some hotel suite. They were talking about how hard it was and they couldn't get good jobs because apparently they are stupid and don't make plans for the future, therefore they couldn't commit to a "career" job because they might move back to New Orleans, they just don't know yet. The wife was a waitress and the husband was doing management at HEB or something. so I would put their estimated 6month income at around $12,000 assuming they both work full time and avg $10 and hr. They have no kids.....what pissed me off the most after showing these "poor" people adjust to their new life was the reporter mentioned one line in which she stated their hotel rent was paid for by the government.......all of it....and now they have to move out.....into a government owned apt that will cost them a whopping $25 a month and they weren't really in favor of this new added "expense" , so my question is, what the fuck are these people spending there $ on?! they both have jobs and pay NO rent and are bitching about being poor.....maybe they should think about cutting back on the drugs and online porn....stupid poor people,....
