I love this series it makes me smile. In this chapter I particularly like Burt who intimidates Puck and everybody wanting to kill Rachel for being mean to Mercedes. More please?
I get being shy but you don't have to worry in this community. I was the same way but everyone is super nice and accepting. I promise they only bite if you ask them to and they always remember the safe word.
So hilarious and romantic at the same time! I loved the scene with Burt and Puck's monologue in his head. I think it's just right that someone finally put Rachel in her place, she is way out of line. I love how tender the moment was between Kurt and Puck when they were at the Hummel's doorstep, only for it to be disrupted by a protective Burt. So looking forward to the family dinner! :D
Thank you so much. Burt is an intimidating figure. I hope to be able to redeem Rachel down the road but it's not really high on my priorities so she may continue to be a douche for a bit.
I know a bunch of people probably expected to find Noah outside armed with a guitar and a song by a famous gay Jew but I wanted it to be simple. I'm really glad that came across.
I'm looking forward to writing the dinner. Fun times ahead.
Thanks. :D The next chapter is going to be a little bit full on the Finn/Mercedes. The entire first part is gonna be a Mercedes style recap of the weekend she spent hold up in that basement with Finn.
The dinner is going to be a bit of a double date in itself because Mercedes will be joining them. But I totally agree that there needs to be two proper double dates. Finn/Mercedes with Noah/Kurt and Noah/Kurt with Brit/San.
Plus Mercedes still needs to introduce Finn to her family. Possibility of DRAMA
oh, I can't wait to read about what they were getting up to in the basement that left both with such big smiles and Finn with such a bounce in his step.
I have a feeling it was more than just talking...
And I never even thought about how the Jones' might react to this relationship, so yeah that could be interesting. Especially if they're not bad guys, just very protective and extremely aware of how others might react. Because Finn and Mercedes are young and in love and likely wouldn't be as worried about consequences as the adults. Which could lead to an ugly wake up call.

I adore that he calls Mercedes 'Mercy' it's so cute and everyone being so protective of her and pissed at Rachel was awesome.
Can't wait for the big dinner with Burt.
Dude, Finn/Mercedes and Noah/Kurt double date MUST HAPPEN!
It'll make the small town small minders heads explode:
"Who do I hate more, the interracial hetero couple, or the gay couple, one if which is a (hot) Jew. Decisions, decisions, decisions..."
