Dammit, this entry is like a bloody geog lesson...

This is going to be very short and everything, as I soon need to go. My Grandfather only installed the internet so he can get in touch with my Auntie, and we are limitied on how long we can take to check emails etc.
Anyone hear about the floods that have 'wrecked the Cornish village of Boscastle' or whatever the place is? You would have done if you'd watched the news. That is what *all* the stories are about...but it's not just that place which has been flooded.
That big hurricane over in the States continued across the Atlantic, and then dumped five days of solid rain on Cornwall, America's nearest neighbours 'across the pond'. So, my lovely week so far as consisted of rain, rain and more rain. Slightly depressing.
Problem is everytime I complain about the crap weather, I get called a 'little townie gal who can't cope with a bit of the countryside weather'...
The most intresting thing that has happened so far, is giving the Girlies a bath, finding Rosie had mites, and had to drive off to the vets in a thunder storm. Oh, and finding a hedgehog tangled up in the netting, and setting it free.
Mum and Zina are coming down tomorrow, and we're hopefully cleaning out the pond (see, how's that for a townie gal, eh?).
News on the kitten front is that Mum doesn't want to get one at all now, just as I'm warming up to the concept of having one. It would be great and everything to have two, but it doesn't look like thats an option at all now. I've looked through the classified, and have circled all the kittens 'for sale' in a red marker...hopefully Mum will get the oh-so-subtle point.
