My next car will be a Scion...

Last night Ben and I helped Breamond move into the apartment downstairs from ours. We were cleaning windows and floors and mirrors when we heard a crash boom bang outside. Adam, who was cleaning the windows nearly fell from the thing he was standing on and screamed "We got a rollover!" It took me about 2 minutes or so to comprehend what he had just said and another minute or two to validate what I saw outside our apartment: a Scion teetering on it's roof at the traffic light. He had hit a parked car on the side of the road, tried to correct himself and flipped his vehicle. Ben was already on the phone with 911 and I ran upstairs to our apartment to get some gloves. I rushed outside with a group of people surrounding the car. The man in the car was conscious and alert. He wanted out. So all these guys were trying to get him out even though I told them they probably shouldn't move him until paramedics arrived. They removed him from his car and he stumbled around with me and this other guy holding onto him. He was totally unaware of anything that had happened and seemed slightly drunk. We made him sit on the curb and wait for paramedics. I took his pulse and watched his eyes follow my movements. I didn't smell alcohol on him. The only visible trauma was a cut to his left hand. He wanted a cigarette. I told him it wasn't a good time and continued holding his hand and keeping him talking. He asked what happened like 4 times. I asked him where he was headed and he told me he was going to an AA meeting.... o.O To which point I thought to myself, Dude, you need to call your sponsor and tell them shit isn't working out. You need help. The paramedics arrived and i talked to the police for a few minutes. then I faded into the background and went inside. Obviously the car was totaled but all in all it held up wonderfully. For what the guy had done, the windshield shattered but remained intact, and he was able to open the door and get out. The car he hit was also totaled. I felt so bad when the police finally got in contact with the owner and he came to see the damage. Poor bastard. I reiterate: My next car will be a Scion.

So anyway, Breamond is moved in for the most part and she will be spending tonight in her apartment. We're planning on having a sort of Superbowl party at the house tonight to kind of celebrate her being here finally. Life is gonna start getting really fun.

We finally have our photographer for the wedding. He is a family friend and his work is phenomenal. Ben andIi are very excited. So now we have everything except:

1. Honeymoon
2. Invitations
3. Hotel reservations for out of state/country guests
4. Registering

And I think that is it.

Stuff is finally coming together. I'm happy I have so many people who are so willing to help me out.
