I have an 8:30 AM final. You think I'd be studying or sleeping. You'd think. It's Management Information Systems. 1). It's a boring-ass subject. 2). I have to try really hard to NOT get an A in the class. 3). Seriously. It's boring as fuck.
Instead I'm tooling around on the internet and listening to the crapload of CDs I checked out from the library.
Anyway. I finally got around to seeing "Prince of Persia" today.
Basically, I thought it was "Back to the Future" meets "Aladdin" meets "Pirates of the Caribbean" meets "Indiana Jones". Needless to say, I LOVED IT. Was it high art? No. Will it be considered a box office flop? Probably. But I don't care. There were awesome fights and Jake Gyllenhaal was buff and shirtless and time travel and Jake Gyllenhaal and yes I am that shallow.
I need to see it again to have any in depth thoughts on the movie. And I will see it again. Maybe after my final tomorrow. And I will get some popcorn this time, because that was the only thing missing from my movie-watching experience (you can't watch a popcorn movie without popcorn, but I got to the theater a little late).
