(no subject)
So I drove down to Newport, KY to see Fran and Andy (of the band Travis) perform some of their songs.
In the grand scheme of things, I probably shouldn't have gone out tonight. Especially since I have two exams today/tomorrow (the first one in about 8 and a half hours!). Especially since I haven't really studied for either of those exams.
But, whatever.
It was a great concert. It was very laid back, and a lot of fun and the venue was pretty cool. Fran talked a bit about each song and there was a slide show (personally my favorite part of the slide show was the Jake Gyllenhaal slides before "Love Will Come Through").
I ended up buying the official "bootleg" CD and had them sign it. So all in all, a great evening.
Certainly better than studying finance or cost accounting and then going to bed early.
