I just made a jam sandwich.
At the sound of the bread drawer, my dog, who was sleeping at the time, jumps up, and comes crashing into the kitchen (partly from just having woken up so suddenly, and partly because he's wearing one of those lampshade collars and doesn't know how much space he takes up. He's my four-legged Godzilla).
I found it all rather amusing.
(sure, he wakes up when he hears the bread drawer, but does he do anything when our cars get broken into? Nooooo)
