Very awesome.
Okay, not many thoughts on this episode. I loved it and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. But I saw it a couple of hours ago, and I'm tired, so I can't really think of specifics.
But I hope C-Note lives. I don't think I can take many more of the merry band of escapees dying (unless it's T-Bag. He can die and I will celebrate).
An awesome episode of Heroes. Just awesome.
I loved that it mainly focused on HRG and Claire. No whiney Petrie. No Nathan and his weird jaw (I just don't find Adrian Pasdar all that attractive. His face/jaw is kind of weird and reminds me of the Iron Giant). A slight break from Hiro (although I loved seeing itty bitty Hiro and his Gameboy) and Ando. Such a nice change of pace.
After this episode, HRG has become one of my favorite characters, if not my favorite (sorry Hiro. I still love you). He's so complex. I've spent most of the season disliking/hating him, but now I see why he did what he did. He's not completely good, not completely bad, but an interesting shade of grey.
Also, Lost? I hope you were taking notes. You totally got schooled. This episode answered some questions (Why was HRG an asshat? How did he get his glasses? What's the deal with Claude?), yet left some mystery (what does Sulu have to do with this? ZOMG! HOW DID CLAUDE NOT DIE?! Exactly what memories of Claire will HRG retain?). Nicely done.
And the ending? Very touching and really well-done. And for a moment I was wondering who the hell stole my cold, black heart and replaced it with a human heart, because I was feeling human emotions and such.
And I was underwhelmed by The Black Donnellys. I went up to make tea during the middle of it, and when I came back I realized I didn't care. The *only* reason I'd watch again is because one of the brothers was Smalls from The Sandlot. You're killing me, Smalls!
