I'm trying to sticky entry - did I do it right?

Just checked your lj- it doesn't look like it worked.

Just write up the intro you want and then set the date waaaaay ahead, and it will always show up at the top of your journal. IM me if you have any questions. (emmycantbemeeko, of course).

I did that, but then made another entry and on other people's friends pages, the second entry wasn't showing up...

Ohhhh I think I know how you can get around that.

Type up the entry you want to be sticky and post it like normal.

Then post another regular entry.

Then go back and edit the sticky entry, changing the date to the far future. It should now be at the top of your journal, but the editing of the date won't register on people's friends lists and they'll never see it again, unless they visit your journal.
