niche

It's funny I never think of modest mouse as deep music.

If I had theme music for writing like Carrie in sex in the city It would be the world at large by modest mouse.

We are so lost. We carve out niche to fit into so the sweeping waters of life can't wash us away.... Wisk us into a world pool of people... Full of people who are also lost. No matter how deep you niche is with 4 years of highschool it is eroded away by the time of graduation when the turbulence takes you and your drowning again. A freshman again... drowning again. You see a kid you never really talked to in highschool at college. You say hi. He keeps walking. You can't hold on to that stone. You keep tumbeling, gathering speed... Untill you stop and breath. Occasionaly the water pins you against a wall or a bank or you get stuck in a back current and no matter how hard you struggle you can't get free. Instead of an uncontrolable speed, your stuck, wedged between a rock and a hard place. Where does the water end? The ocean with a serene sun set, or a crystal blue lake surrounded in a pine wood... For some it's a sudden stop over a waterfall and It's all done. Over before it slowed, still desperatly trying to find that place. That pool of peace. Life is so peculular
