Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know some good news about my head. I went to my check up today, the first one including my blood test results after I have been on the medication for 2 months. I was really nervous about it because I haven't been physically able to see any results. The hormone that is causing me so much trouble usually has a normal range from 0-30, nd mine was 560. Seriously overboard. But today I found out that the medication has made it decrease to 20.2 . I was so happy I was crying on the way home. I am to stay on this medication until it has stabilized for a few months, and then I will stay on it for 6 more months and then I will go off of it. I will keep on monitoring it through blood tests and an occasional MRI. Because of the nature of the tumor, it will most likely reappear eventually like after I have kids, but I will just go on the meds again. But for now I am happy because this means brain surgery isn't such an essential remedy. I want to thankyou for all your cares and concerns! I really appreciate them!
with love,
Michelle
