• Name: Katie
• Age: Seventeen
• How would you describe yourself?(includes strengths and flaws): I'm really quirky. I stand strong with my beliefs and defend them when people question them. I voice my opinion whenever it's needed, but at many times I'm left being as quiet as a mouse. I have a very strong sense of humor and I use it quite often whenever a situation is awkward or whenever I don't feel that comfortable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but I'm fine with that. I'm a dreamer and I spend a lot of my time with my thoughts far off, but feet remain on the ground. I care far more about people and their feelings then an average sane person would. I'm a surprisingly humble person. I don't think of myself as the best at everything and anything and I'm usually surprised when I get a compliment for something. However, I am very confident in myself and how I present myself to others. I do my best to be outgoing, even when it's not my best day. I'm also a hopeless romantic who believes very strongly in true love and that there is someone out there for everyone.
I am very stubborn and sarcastic. Often times if someone tries to convince me to do something, I won't do it. I need someone to provide good evidence that I should do it or else I won't. If it's school work, I'll do it. If it's a life decision, I might take it into consideration. My sarcasm can be a tad biting, but slightly humorous in a way. I'm very impatient and I cannot stand waiting for something either a long period of time or just five minutes, but I am patient with people. I'm just impatient with everyday things. I'm also pretty headstrong usually. If there is something that I want to achieve, I will work hard until I reach my goal. At the same time, I'm also very indecisive. When it comes to making a small decision, I can hardly make up my mind and I usually ask for someones opinion before I can decide. I'm even worse at figuring out what's best for me in the long run. Whether it be people in my life, colleges to go to, etc. I can never really figure out what's best. I'm trying to work on that more, what's best for myself rather than others. It's not something I want to do, but more of have to do, for my own sake.
• What are you passionate about? I am very passionate about life, music, art, Disney, literature, and Harry Potter. I view life as something that is precious and shouldn't be taken lightly. I have many friends who scoff at the saying, 'Life is short'. It really is if you think about it. Days pass quickly and you loose touch with those you were once close with, people die, and people are born. You can change your life, but you just cannot change certain things. I love music and art because it's the way I express myself. Disney and Harry Potter are two of my absolute favourite things in the world and have been since I was little. As for literature, I love to read and learn new ideas from books. I have quite the bookshelf in my room too. I need to buy a new one sometime soon now that I think of it... Or at least get a job to buy one.
• Pet Peeves? Ignorance, arrogance, people who chew their food too loudly, when the water is left running, people who are fake, people who can't take a joke, when someone is nice to your face but talks crap behind your back, overly judgemental people, when I can't find something I just set down, and people who walk unbelieveably slow.
• What are you not so good at? Thinking before I speak and starting conversations.
• Do you have any talents? I'm good at writing. I love to write stories and tell stories. I sing in my school's Concert Choir which is the highest choir so that says something. I paint and draw a lot and I have high hopes of becoming a visual development artist at Disney.
• How do you view friendship? Friendship is possibly one of the most important things to me. I am very close to my friends. I trust them more then my family and know that they are willing to call me out if I'm being a little moody or rude. They keep me grounded and support me with everything I do. They're more so my family then my actual family.
• Family, friends, lovers, possessions, careers. What order would you put these, from highest to lowest priority?
Friends- Friendship is possibly one of the most important things to me. I am very close to my friends. I trust them more then my family and know that they are willing to call me out if I'm being a little moody or rude. They keep me grounded and support me with everything I do. They're more so my family then my actual family (copy and paste is my best friend).
Family- To me, they come after my friends. I love my family dearly and they've known me longer then most, but I don't feel they know me as well as they think they do. They don't often listen to my opinions or listen to what I want. They try to do what they think is best for me rather then what I know is best for me. I love them all dearly though, but sometimes they can be a bit thick.
Lovers- I don't have a lover, but the right lover will be both a friend to me and may eventually become family.
Careers- They're very important, but they shouldn't come before family, friends, and lovers.
Possessions- It doesn't matter what you own as long as you're happy.
Favorites
• Favorite Color(s) and why? Red because it is a passionate color and I am a passionate person.
• Favorite Place(s) and why? Walt Disney World! I love the entire atmosphere of the park, the people who work there, the food, the attractions, everything ♥ I'm having major withdrawl of it right now.
• Favorite Movie(s) and why? Beauty and the Beast for it's classic love story and for the fact it's one of the few Disney films that I still get chills while watching it. Also, I have a newfound love for Inglourious Basterds.
• Favorite Book(s) and why? The Harry Potter series has been my favourite book series for the past eight years. All of the books have fantastic characters that many have come to know and love, beautiful writing, and an amazing storyline. I could read them hundreds of times and not once get bored.
• Favorite Television Show(s) and why? I love Glee, Pushing Daisies, and The Soup. Glee is absolutely, positively, fantastic. The Soup just because they make fun of everything.
• Favorite Food(s) and why? Italian food because I'm mainly Italian and it's usually what I always eat. :P
