So last friday consisted of me and B stayen in because i think i was still working off my hang over from the night before (classy i know but it happens) ok well anyways went to bed pretty early and were woken up 16 times by random drunk callers so 2:30 rolled around and we thought itd be a good idea to get some McDonalds and make a trip to the grocery store to by our buddy some flowers lol since he was having some girl problems, we attempted to do it like a stake out when we dropped them off but def caught us because i think it may be impossible for me to not laugh when im with brit.
Speaking of not trying to sound weird, but i am so thankful that she is my roommate i didnt think i could have got luckier she is just another version of me. So things are good!
So then saturday the parentals came up for parents weekend, it was so nice to see them since it had been over a month since i had.
Went to Granite City to eat! which for those of you who dont live in the QC it is unbelievable and you should def make a trip up to try it.
That night was a flippen blast.!.
This week flew by. It was my week to give my speech.
Topic: why you should turn your library books in on time
hehe we librarians get flustered when you dont!
I got an A!
yay! first time ever for that because i think we all know public speaking makes me want to commit suicide.
Thursday was crazy fun!
Friday me, B, & Kelly headed up to Iowa City.
That was a flippen blast. Met a lot of cool people, got to see scoot, went to the bars, carried my drunken roomate home, crashed, woke up at 7am so we could start tailgaiting. It was a pretty unreal fun weekend.!.
On the way home we talked about how we just were glad that we were going home, not that we dint enjoy our time in IC, but its a good feeling when when you see the SAU signs.
I find it funny that i call this place home, i mean it is, but its not 820 heritage.
I am going home home on tuesday.
Cant wait for Turkey Day to see the whole family and my girls!
And to eat real food. That'll be nice.
