When the lights go down, and the truth is all you see
So last weekend was prom. . .
Went and got my hair done where i always have for four years now, and i loved it. . .then me and sister went and got some blue raspberry icees, that were mmm mmm good, then lori bennett did my make-up, and i loved it, then came home had just enough time to associate with my fam that came to see us, and get my dress on, then timmerz picked me up, we went to bennett's for pictures and i mean for most dances our families go a little picture crazy but i think this year topped all years, we were there for-ev-er, but its stuff like that, that makes the day so funny, then the boys ended up suprising us and they had rented a limo!! it was freaken awesome, it was a good suprise to, because i was clueless and got very excited when it pulled up. Then it was the grand march, and it looked awesome, i really have come to the conclusion though, that, that is definitely the worst part, cuz ur so worried about tripping, but i guess i shouldnt have been because my dress wasnt poofy so i had no problems getting down the stairs, then it was dinner and the dance, which was loads of fun, then we headed out to moes after party, also a wonderful time. . .then to stefos to sleep!
Next day we all went out on the novotneys boat, and cooked out and hung out on the beach all day long, it was a really good time, i enjoy stuff like that. But i did end up falling down a lot and burning my hand so that wasnt fun :( but i did get to see justin to cool jumps on the water, which i hadnt till that day, i chickend out and didnt go skiing since when he came out of the water he was blue, just running in occasionally at the beach was enough for me. . .good times good times
True prom is hectic expensive and tiring but in the end when its all over it was worth all those nerves and all the time u spent getting ready trying to look your best just for those couple of hours, because you know when you look back on memories like that nothing but good thoughts are going to come to your mind, and its going to be somethign you can always rely on to make you smile.
We have 8 school days left, unbelievable how fast its going. . .
Me lindserz and stefo have to work @ may merriment again this year, and they want us to wear long dresses, lol how weird, i guess i dont care though cuz id rather do that then have to go buy something new. . .im thinking im hopefully going to wear the one i wore for ohs's homecoming, but u never know. .that night should be a good time though, for the past 3 years good times have happened there and after lol so we'll see. . .but sadly i doubt we'll win that 30 grand again. .
