i:m not sure i have any idea how to properly write anymore....

that said, it:s time for a bullet post!

- got a new keitai today. i:d been planning on getting one for a while, and had been wanting the gundam slidey phone since it debuted last spring..... but in the end i went with this slidey phone instead, because it was smaller and lighter. also updated my address and plan. and now i have to get used to a new phone again (and get new ringtones and things, and i:m rather emo that jweb no longer has toma saying メールかな for download, :cause that was my favorite general-mail notification).

- work. work has been up and down (and forwards and backwards and any which way but NORMAL) for a while now. my class has expanded from 8 kids to 16, with two more adding in in the next couple of months, and about 2-3 visitors a week that i give demo lessons to. on top of that, they opened up another oyako class, so starting next month i will be teaching THREE extra classes a week on top of my nursery class (Tuesday oyako, Thursday oyako, Friday after class). oh, and my partner gets angry at me and complains to the japanese head teacher at least once a week (in the staffroom while everyone is on break, but in japanese as if that makes it all secret or something). this week she complained twice - once about how i was helping one of the other teachers on daycare instead of her (other teacher had about 7 kids to take to the toilet, she had 2 that needed nappy changes), once for not talking to the mommies about the new sign in/out system we started on FRIDAY (which was the manager's DAY OFF, and which the native staff hadn:t heard ANYTHING ABOUT until after they decided to implement it) because daycare was too busy (only me and one other teacher with about 20 kids) to do anything but keep the kids from injuring each other/themselves (and two of them still managed to scribble all over the walls with a crayon they found under the table). but it:s apparently my fault because i "didn:t try" and which she told me repeatedly while i was trying to teach circle time, while she was in and out of the room to check all the other class:s sign in/out sheets and slamming doors because she was so pissed at me.

- yeah, she:s a bitch.

- got the results of the health check we had to take at the company meeting last month back, and according to whatever standards they use here, i am perfectly healthy but my ideal weight is 45kg.

- i need to stop living on caffeine and ibuprofen.

- a couple weeks ago i had a lovely migraine that lasted a bit over two days. and someday i am going to write up a very detailed and graphic description of what exactly goes on when i get a migraine and hand it to my managers, so when i tell them i have to go home they don:t respond with "oh, but it:s just a bad headache, and we need you here"

- sorry, this is turning into work complaints ばかり

- the show i got interviewed for in september aired, and my 30 minute interview got trimmed down to about 20 seconds, where they asked to look in my bag and then talked about my anpanman schedule book and about arashi....... but the tape i had of it got erased (lent it to a friend, her kid accidentally taped over it) (T_T) so if anyone knows someone/a place to get a copy of ZoomIn Saturday from 9/27/08, i:d appreciate it.

- went up to tokyo last weekend with roler and zizz to hang out with _nermal_ and do a little bit of sightseeing (emphasis on little) and see a concert. concert was a lot of fun, despite the girls in front of us purposely untying their hair so that it would whip around into our faces and generally having bad manners like that, and it was great to finally hang out with nermal!

- while we were in harajuku, a couple of foreigners asked us for help on getting to ueno, and as laura and i were explaining things to them, a boom mic and a camera appeared and we realized we were being filmed for a tv show. initially i thought it was one of the nhk english learning programs, but when i asked one of the crew he said it was for "i survived a japanese game show"

what

- i need less stress.

laura, hate! oh god the hate, work, kill everyone, tokyo, hisashiburi, friends, concert, bullet post!
