The sign of the crossfader
Today has been one long day of fucking idiot tenin talking down to me and not being helpful, getting stuck in the middle of office politics, Misaki crying ALL DAY LONG, and not accomplishing any of the errands I set out to do after work.
I take rather a bit of pride/satisfaction in the fact that when I'm pissed off, people clear the fuck away from me.
But then I went to the cd store, and as always the people there were awesome and nice to me. Like, they actually listen to me, and are patient when I mess up, and try to help me when I forget words. And they ENCOURAGE me to speak more, where tenin at other stores seem to want to hide when they see a foreigner coming through. (Once when I made Laura ask them something for me, they told me 'you could have said that, next time you need to try!')
So yeah, that helped my mood a bit, and then I got back and Laura and I watched the PV for the new Arashi single, and it is so beautifully gay with the dance and the rainbows and the hats, and the song is totally happy and bouncy and a butt-wiggling song, that I cheered up considerably. And now Lincoln just finished, and it was god as well.
Though I'm still really fucking pissed at the tenin at the video game store here in Yagi, who decided to respond my questions in Japanese by going to get a piece of paper and POINTING to the English translation of his answer. Without saying anything. 'Cause you know, if I use 'arimasen' in my question, it is completely unreasonable for him to expect me to understand an answer that USES 'arimasen'. Fucker.
