Kelly Clarkson
After bugging my roommates for a while by singing her songs around the apartment, I finally broke down and bought Kelly Clarkson's album. And you know what? I'm not afraid to admit it! =P Seriously though, it seems like everyone is embarrassed to admit that they like her. Is that because it means you probably watch American Idol? Which you shouldn't be afraid to admit either, because it's about time we search for new singers who can actually sing. Even my own brother asked me that. "Should I be embarrassed to admit that I like Kelly Clarkson?" Which is really kind of funny because growing up with him, he listened to stuff like Tool. But, I think it's worse to admit that you like Christina Aguilera or something. (No offense if you do...) I just hope Kelly doesn't go through a slut phase because it seems like that's a natural occurence for our singers today. And I would say it's because they don't have the singing talent so they have to distract that with something else. But there are some talented singers who've turned slutty anyway, so I just don't get it. Anyway, I'm happy. I needed some new music. Go Kelly!
