Daddy's girl!
Wow, thanks for all the kind words yesterday everyone. I didn't expect all of that, I was just going about my day and sharing thoughts. But it's just nice to know how many people care about me. Thanks guys! I feel so blessed!
In other news, my dad is officially retired! He had his last day of work yesterday. I called him at work just because it was the last time I could. =P He thought that was sweet. If you were unaware, my dad ownes a 1979 blue VW van. It's his baby, and everyone at work jokes on him about still having it. So, when I went to his retirement party on Monday, one of his co-workers made a tye-dyed shirt for him, 60s bandana included. So, on his last day yesterday, he wore the shirt. I'm just really proud of him. He was scared at first, but now he knows that retiring was the right thing to do. He said he can already feel it. So, now we'll both be on the same journey over the summer of trying to figure out what to do with the rest of our lives. =P
If you hadn't noticed, one more thing I've noticed about this year is that I've become a total daddy's girl. =P
