I would just like to say that when I ask off of work it is not just for kicks. I don't do it just to inconvenience others. I have valid reasons and expect those reasons to be respected, especially when I ask off WAY in advance. But no, for the second time in the past month, my manager has scheduled me on days that I have asked off for over two weeks in advance. And then when I confront him on it, he simply says, "oh, did I do that...sorry." Ugh. And I'm such a wuss, I don't even say anything right then and there, I jeopardize my previous plans for a job that doesn't even appreciate all the hard work I do. I don't think I would mind so much if I like my job at least a little bit. It helps to vent though.
