-The twelvecolonies battle is  over and allllmooost posted (Go Cylons!) and I somehow managed to win Bingo, which is a little absurd since I only had one episode picked for the first 8 updates, and you can see me all :( over the threads.  Yet eventually awesome. :DDD

But I also did a blend-y thing and prettified it later to make a graphic and a bunch of ( Read more... )

Thank you!

Also, I just did a computer *thing* and HAVE OPEN-SOURCE VIDDING SOFTWARE! I feel like such a rockstar (and someone who managed NOT to kill her computer. :D)

There is open-source vidding software? I'm not sure what that means but I think it means . . . yay? More vids from Em!

What software is it, if you don't mind me asking?

Kdenlive.

It does mean yay! In both the vids and the free sense. :D

Wow, I've never heard of that. You have learned so many programs! Is it just for a Mac? I sure hope it works for you!

Moar vids!

Kdenlive is a piece of software developed for Linux that can now be brought over to a Mac environment thanks to buches of lovely smart people who are not me. :) We shall see if I will learn it and it won't crash ridiculously on me.

Viiiiids.

OMG SO EXCITED FOR YOU! Kdenlive is a pretty good programme from what I know. I actually have a copy though I don't use it as I prefer the more customisable Cinelerra and Kdenlive kept crashing for me, but I seem to be in the minority with that since most people say it's super stable ( ... )

:DDDD

I AM EXCITED. AND NERVOUS. What if it doesn't like me? (I'm actually not sure I have effects right now, but otherwise it seems stable-ish and we can work on that. :) It used to crash on me when I was running my labtop on Ubuntu all the time too, though some forum said that's because I was using Wubi. *shrugs*

Oooh, funnily enough your tip looks a lot like what the Premiere software I made the Jean vidlet on does, so hopefully that part will transfer over the same too. I'm already sad that dragging the clip over to the Project Tree doesn't create a tiny fake clip in the program so I'll have it for the future. And that key commands don't work since I use them lots. /lazy

(Random: I've always loved that icon.)
