The Wedding is booked!
And for all you who are interested it's the 10th of July next year.
This wasn't a date we particularly chose, however. We phoned up the place where we wanted to hold the reception and were told quite simply that they were booked up almost completely for next year and that they only had one room available on one date. Thus we decided on the 10th of July. We booked this on Monday and then on Tuesday we made our way up to the church, convinced that they would be all booked up and so we'd either have to find another church or another reception venue. Luckily the church was almost completely booked up on every day except the 10th, when there was noone at all. So we had our pick of times (1:30.)
Everything seems to be coming together quite well, although when it comes to thinking about paying for all this I'm just burying my head in the sand. I know we can afford it, but to spend your life savings on something so frivolous seems ridiculous to my sensible side. However, the girly side of me wants to be a princess for a day and doesn't care what it costs. Oh the joy of the Cinderella complex.
