Well, it was a great weekend to say the least. jen and liz invited me over to their place for an Audrey Hepburn movie night ( a.k.a. hot, single girls sitting around a tv on a saturday night....now that's what i call entertainment!) We watched Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Next time, we need to create a Gregory Peck movie night...I made too many stupid puns off his name during Roman Holiday, i think the girls got tired of my stupidity. But i'm serious about the peck night...or maybe a Cary Grant night? but the only bummer on that one is that apparently he was gay? and rock hudson? i've concluded that even the good looking stars who dressed well 50 years ago were homosexuals! it's a complete conspiracy. Until i find a descent straight man to have a movie night for, i suppose i'm going to settle with Mickey Rooney off 60 minutes. that man's got game.
Good News! Sunday it finally rained! It'd been over a year since Texas had a drop of it, so we're all rejoicing and I finally get to use my houndstooth umbrella that I bought! Life is picking up!
i also feel more people should be open-minded about dutch music. it's superb material.
